I was reading about Obama's recent awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize. Rush Limbaugh called it embarassing and commented on the war and our need for more troops. This man has some nerve. I'm all for everyone's right to their own opinion, don't get me wrong. I've been to Iraq. I've sat in my office doing paperwork and had the windows blown in by an explosion. I've known men and women of various ages who have suffered serious injuries. Thankfully no one in my unit died, but the unit attached to us lost their Lt. America has lost over 4,000 citizens to this war. That many families have lost children, parents, siblings, and friends. If Rush Limbaugh is so concerned about how the war is going, why doesn't he get up and go experience the middle east like the rest of us did? I'm proud of my service, and I'll stand proud once more when I'm called to war in the future. I'd like to not comment on the politics and I really don't care that Limbaugh considers this "embarrasing." His opinions won't change and they shouldn't. My problem is with the war hungry assholes that hide behind money and political status.

Wow! These last three months were amazing. I went to AZ, NM, and CA to visit family. Lot's of fun! I finally got to go swimming in the ocean for the first time since high school, and I got some great pictures of the mountains in AZ. I'll post a few later on; my camera's lost somewhere in my room. I went to a cowboys game in their new stadium (AMAZING) and the margaritas were so good that it almost made up for the price ($14 each). I mean, really good. lol, i was trashed. I just got back from San Antonio, and that was a blast. My new picture is from our hotel room. We went clubbin that night. Now I'm finally home and settled, and I started an internet course at the last minute. Since I had to drop out of my english class for deployment last March, I decided to get that one out of the way. So far I like it. I'm not promising any artwork or updates, but I'll be on more often now. I love you guys!

btw, i'm sick as shit right now. word of advice: don't run in the rain.
